Adoption has been my lifelong goal since I was 17-years old. I knew, even back then, that eventually I would like to provide the best life possible for a child in need of a loving family. I feel incredibly blessed to be in a place in my life where I can provide for a child’s needs, both financial and educational.
As a single mother, I intend to adopt only one child, who will have my undivided attention. The way I see it, adoption should be first an act of love that promises a lifetime of safety, inclusion, and respect.
I was born in South America, and I speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese. I have an amazing (and rather large) supportive family that is made up of accomplished, loving, independent women. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I am currently working in an Early Intervention program with children 0 – 3 years old. I live in a safe condominium in a diverse, family-oriented neighborhood near Boston. For three months last year, I was a certified foster mother for a beautiful newborn baby boy who taught me so much about parenting and unconditional love.
